  Moms from the American School

  In October 2009, Ileana Canalizo and Carla Moreno ran the New York Marathon in order to help support “Busca un Amigo,” a rehabilitation center for children with Cerebral Palsy in El Pitillal, Puerto Vallarta.

  For almost four months they trained and by the end of the last two months of training they sent emails to more than 80 families and friends asking for funds. The promise: to finish the 42kms race; the goal: to help more than 40 children with CerebralPalsy.

  Finally the date arrived and they finished the race with great success collecting more than 10,000 usd for the children. It was an unforgettable experience that will  be kept in their hearts forever!
