For the sixth consecutive year our AP students and 9th graders presented the art they’ve been working on with Miss Licia. Thanks to Plaza Galerías, the exhibit was a success and the art was enjoyed by a wide audience.
Our 9th graders presented the portraits they created for The Memory Project, a charitable nonprofit organization that invites art teachers and their students to create and donate portraits for youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as violence or natural disasters. These portraits are a message to these children saying: we care! For the art students, it’s an opportunity to creatively practice kindness and global awareness.
