This is how 2nd grade learns the measurements

During math class, lesson #60, second grade students at ASPV learned how to measure cups, tablespoons and teaspoons. This was accomplished by reading and following a cooking recipe for a small cake. On February 1st, students from ASPV’s high school National Honor Society hosted the annual Reading Workshop for 42 rural school educators in the state of Jalisco. Rural schools are operated by the Consejo Nacional para el Fomento de la Educacion (CONAFE) in Mexico and are often one-room school houses with all of preschool or primary-aged students from the community.
