The tenth grade students spent the week exploring Washington D.C., accompanied by Miss Reibitz, while participating in an educational program Close Up, Washington D.C. aimed at informing, inspiring, and empowering young people to become responsible citizens. The program invites students not only to learn about the history of the United States and democracy, but it also encourages them to take a stance on important issues affecting the nation and the entire world. During the week-long course, students interact with participants from diverse backgrounds, allowing them to gain a truly global perspective and a more informed outlook on issues that matter.
