RE-ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR
In order to carry out the re-enrollment process beginning February 4th, you must come in personally; do not send your employees because the new laws regarding confidentiality and privacy for personal and financial information require that we obtain such information directly.
The Fee schedule is available with the school cashier. If you would like a copy please drop by the accounting office.
Please follow these steps:
1. Stop by the High School Office to pick up your enrollment pass. You will be asked to update and verify your personal information there and sign the educational services contract related to the 2014-2015 school year.
2. Once you have picked up your pass, come by the accounting office to carry out the payment either by check, credit card or bank transfer in the name of COLEGIO AMERICANO DE PUERTO VALLARTA, A.C. If you choose to make a bank transfer, please bring in a copy of the deposit. We remind you that cash payments are not acceptable.
At the Accounting Office you will be asked to give us your financial information and email address so we can send you a digital receipt (‘factura’). We will also need to know the tuition payment plan you have chosen.
REPORT CARDS will be going home with students TODAY, except for grade 11 students, since they haven’t taken their Math semester exam yet. Parents are asked to sign them and return them to the office by Friday.
Those students, who failed any classes during first semester, must retake them during 3rd quarter after school. Make Up classes will start next week. The office will send a letter to parents with all the pertinent information about the courses.
Our girls Soccer team will be attending the ASOMEX TOURNAMENT IN PUEBLA this week from Thursday, February 6th through Wednesday the 12th. We wish them the best of luck!!!
THE HONOR ROLL CEREMONY will be held this Monday, February 10th at 12:00 hrs at the high school courtyard. As always, parents are cordially invited.
On Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. the American School of Puerto Vallarta will open its doors to families in Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas to discover why it is the best educational institution in the region. If you have friend or family who have expressed an interest in enrolling children at ASPV please tell them about this opportunity to get to know how our school works.

AFTER SCHOOL TRAINING SESSIONS for selected students will be held in the Science Lab from 2:45 – 3:45 on Tuesday, February 11th and Wednesday the 12th.
REGIONAL COMPETITION will be in Guadalajara on February 13th – 14th
NATIONAL COMPETITION will be in Puebla on March 12th – 14
The GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT for girls in grades 7 through 12 will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, 2014 at from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Registration Opens at 5:15pm)
All girls are encouraged to participate.
There will be different classes like Jiu-Jitsu / Brazilian Self Defense, Dancing Jewelry Making, a lot of Fun and Snacks.
