K3 visits a tortilla shop

As a part of Early Childhood’s project based-learning our Kinder 3 students visited a tortillería with Miss Mary. Earlier they had visited a corfield, and are currently growing their own shots of corn. With this field trip, our students learned how corn is heated and cooked to make dough, and finally tortillas. They got to taste them, too! Learning can be fun when children get their hands on the dough!
