The National Honor Society hosted its anual Induction Ceremony at O’Rourke y Asociados. 6 students, Julia, Pattryze, Edwin, Kevin, Francisco, and Daniella were officially inducted as members. It was a beautiful and moving night led by the NHS Advisor Pamela Martínez, and both our General Director and our High School Principal awarded the new members with NHS emblematic medallions. The NHS President, Juan, led the traditional Candle Lighting Ceremony and the new members recited the NHS Pledge. Our Service Advisor and Entreamigos founder, Nicole Swedlow, gave an incredibly inspiring speech to the students on developing the quality of service and a compassionate attitude toward life, and our student Lindsay sang a gorgeous rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly me to the Moon.” We would like to thank Lic. Ramírez for allowing us to use their beautiful space at O’Rourke, and Ms. Gárate for the delicious appetizers. Congratulations to our new members!
