The co-founders of the school community service group “Operation Smile”, Sarah and Jack, held a stay-at-school, fundraising camp. The group held various activities, such as tug-of-war, catch the flag and even a water balloon fight, and offered pizza, games, and tons of fun! But the group’s goal was more than just having a blast, they wanted to raise awareness. Operation Smile is a community service group aimed to sponsor cleft lip and palate surgeries for children who otherwise could not be able to eat, drink, or breathe properly. Through the camp, the group was able to raise 140 dollars, almost half a surgery, and raise awareness of the mighty cause.
