Pendulum Physics

The grade 12s were applying their knowledge of energy transfers and mechanics to pendulums in Physics class with Mr. Adam. They were able to calculate the amount of kinetic energy and speed that the pendulum would swing with, just by taking measurements with a ruler. They had the freedom to decide which objects they wanted to swing, with choices ranging from water bottles to people! You can be sure that the faculty made sure everyone followed the strict tips for DIY safety and no one got hurt, thankfully.
