Viva Mexico ! This Friday at 8:15 a.m. all parents are invited to share our celebration of Mexican independence. Parents and students are asked to dress in traditional Mexican attire or to dress in red, white, and/or green. This event is a wonderful introduction to Mexican culture for our new families. Don’t miss it!! School will dismiss at 2:30 .

We would like to thank the U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara for providing us with a very informative presentation on personal security.

Beginning today, the gates in the high school will not be opened until 2:40 . Parents picking up students at the high school gate should not line up before then and will not be allowed to wait on front of school until the gates open. We hope this improves the situation we have had with the traffic.

Parents will be receiving details about the PASSPORT CLUB this week. Please consult the information or attachments about this exciting geography program.

Beginning on September 17, teachers will be hosting Open House sessions for parents. These important meetings give teachers an opportunity to explain their programs and give parents a chance to ask questions. The schedule is as follows:

Sep. 17, Nursery at 1:00 - PK at 2:30 Sep. 22, 1 st at 1:00 – 2 nd at 2:30

Sep. 23, Kinder at 1:00 – P1st at 2:30 Sep. 24, 3 rd at 1:00 - 4th at 2:30

Sep. 25, 5th at 1:00 - 6th at 2:30

Child care will be provided for meetings at 2:30 .

¡VIVA MÉXICO! Este viernes 12 de septiembre a las 8.15 a.m., están invitados todos los padres de familia a celebrar con nosotros la Independencia de México. Se pide a alumnos y padres de familia que vistan trajes tradicionales mexicanos o ropa en los colores patrios verde, blanco y rojo. Este evento es una magnífica presentación de la cultura mexicana para todas nuestras nuevas familias. No falten!!!!. Las clases terminarán a las 2:30 p.m.

Deseo expresar mi agradecimiento al Consulado Americano en Guadalajara por proveernos con la estupenda presentación informativa sobre seguridad persona.

Iniciando HOY, la sección de secundaria y preparatoria ABRIRÁ SUS PUERTAS A LA HORA DE SALIDA HASTA LAS 2:40 P.M. Los padres de familia que recogen alumnos en esta área no deberán hacer línea antes de esta hora, asi que no estará permitido esperar en frente de la escuela hasta que las puertas sean abiertas. Esperamos que esto mejore la situación que hemos tenido con el tránsito a esa hora.

Esta semana los padres de familia de primaria recibirán más información sobre el “Passport Club”. Por favor consulte la información en el adjunto sobre este emocionante programa de Geografía.

Iniciando el 17 de septiembre, los maestros estarán recibiendo a los padres de familia en el OPEN HOUSE. Esta importante entrevista da a los maestros la oportunidad de explicar sus programas y dar a los padres de familia respuesta a todas sus preguntas. El horario es como sigue:

Sep. 17, Nursery a la 1:00 - PK a las 2:30 Sep. 22, 1 ° a la 1:00 – 2 ° a las 2:30

Sep. 23, Kinder a la 1:00 – P1° a las 2:30 Sep. 24, 3 ° a la 1:00 - 4° a las 2:30

Sep. 25, 5° a la 1:00 – 6° a las 2:30

Se proveerá cuidado de niños para las juntas de las 2:30 p.m.
