Several decades of research clearly demonstrate that high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood programs produce short- and long-term positive effects on children’s cognitive and social development. The Early Childhood program focuses on practices outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Students enter the Kinder 1 program when they are three years old for a full day of English and Spanish immersion. The ASPV Early Childhood program focuses on the individual development of each child and emphasizes discovery activities that promote brain development and foster curiosity and creativity. The developmental continuum is followed in the Kinder 2 (four year-old) and Kinder 3 (five-year old) classes with most students speaking  in English and Spanish at the end of the three year program.
