Memory Project

Our 9th graders, under Miss Licia’s guidance, presented the portraits they created for The Memory Project, a charitable nonprofit organization that invites art teachers and their students to create and donate portraits for youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as violence or natural disasters. These portraits are a message to these children saying: we care! For the art students, it’s an opportunity to creatively practice kindness and global awareness. This year, our students’ created portraits for Syrian refugees.
