On Friday, February 20, students in fourth grade were visited by Dr. Juan Luis Cifuentes Lemus, a prominent biologist who has made many contributions to science and founder of several universities earned him his horary doctorate degree.
Students played the role of interviewers during his visit. Some of them had questions previously prepared while others acted as photographers, videographers and production assistants. Dr. Cifuentes was greatly impressed by the level of inquiry and interest by part of the students. So much so that he offered to come back another time and give a talk dedicated to the class. He presented the class and environmental calendar developed by the College of Mexican Biologists.
