Learning comes to life as the ASPV 2nd grade class learn about the structure and function of the heart. By investigating a cow and sheep heart, students were able to truly understand and feel that the heart is a muscle. They were also able to see the valves up close and apply what they had learned to explain the movement of blood through the chambers of the heart. A wonderful learning experience for all… especially our future cardiologists!
